"We were driving from Alma to Saint John and decided to stop at Sussex for brunch. This was the first cafe we came across and decided to eat there. The server was very friendly and helpful. She even agreed to make an oatmeal for my husband who wanted a light breakfast. I had the sticky bun french toast with fruits which was very delicious. We definitely recommend this restaurant."

"JJ's diner is a retro style diner, offering standard diner foods but done well. They excel at the typical diner fare like fries, fish and chips, milk shakes, and especially burgers. Their fries are coated and amazing. Burgers are among the best. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Staff are polite and knowledgable. One thing that sets this diner apart is their ability to accommodate large groups. This makes it great for events like birthdays. With a reservation a separate conference room can be booked."

"Went to this out of the way restaurant as I saw it here on yelp and was craving German food. Having spent 6 years living in Germany I can tell you that this is authentic and very good Bavarian style food. Excellent service and an atmosphere straight out of Germany. Would highly recommend well worth the detour."

"We had strawberry shortcakes, it's the first time in my life that I had cookies that were so hard that they had to cut them with a knife. I wonder if they are always so hard or just stabbed and should have been thrown out."
