"This spot is a gem! My daughter and I had high tea this afternoon. What a lovely time we had! The delicious tea, fresh from the oven scones, and finger sandwiches were perfect! It’s a lovely place with charming table tops and decor. Plus live piano playing! Terry is a very special lady who treats her guests like family. As do the other staff! We were greeted with hugs and left with them as well! We will most definitely return!"

"I've only been once, so can't put a lot of emphasis on my one trip. Went to have somewhere to watch soccer while I had lunch and they have several TVs and had different games on each to watch. My disappointment was only that I had shepherd's pie, one if my favorite meals, and wasn't very impressed. They make it with lamb, as it should be... At least they say they do, it was really hard to tell, though, because you couldn't taste it because the sauce was over-poweringly sweet and vinegary. The sweet and vinegary didn't work for me anyway, not what I want from a shepherd's pie, but then it was SO dominating that it really was all you could taste. Prices were a tad on the high side but not too bad."

"I ordered my pizza at 8 a.m. when I came home (over 25 minutes drive) and found the pizza burned it was already closed. I called the next day, and the man who answered did not want to help because I had ordered it from another crew. When I pressed him on the matter that he added when the furnace is closed, it is not checked so often because they clean. I told him I wanted another pizza and offered to return the pizza and take photos. He said the owner was on vacation, but could take my number. I called again this night and they refused to make a replacement and simply offered a refund. I wanted to give them another shot, but suck their customer service and the pizza was not edible. From 1 to 4 stars: I spoke to the owner who agreed to make things right. He was very nice and apologetic I can say he really cares about his business. My concern is that he asked me to inform them in advance so that they can take care of me well? I am too paranoid for it and want a consistent experience. But the sauce on the first pizza was good and they have high quality blows. I don't go back, but from the other good reviews, my experience is not the norm."

"Ordered the 6 pack of donuts from the door dash and they gave us the most basic donuts. Only two of them even had something on them. Did they just want to get rid of the sons of a bitch? With the doughnut options in Tacoma will not order again from them."
