I don't live in tacoma, but find myself so often here. When I do, I always think of a meal. today was chicken fried steak, housed and sweet tee. the restaurant is such a piece nostalgie. from the images of historically relevant poc to the albes that are mounted on the wall in the bathroom, oozes history. they proudly show local and online prices along with a picture of their time on diners, drive intos and dives. and... read more.

As someone who grew up in the south, the food was just ok to me. Waited 40 minutes for a to go order for brunch. Got pancakes and French toast but they didn't pack any syrup or condiments for us to eat it with. I ordered an omelet and it was just very bland to me.
