"What a great way to end our first day in york. as we had already eaten a full meal during the day, we were just looking for some light to eat and a refreshing glass or two rose’ it is not the cheapest, but definitely worth the visit and we will be back soon. an excellent table outside on the deck with views of the river, served by amazing friendly staff, thank you."

"These are hands down the best fish and chips ive had in a long time! Fish was fresh and batter was super crispy, chips were like they’d been triple cooked and the curry sauce was nice and thick! recommend. "Been waiting to go to Source since before they closed due to the pandemic. We've been in for a smoothie before but I'm so glad they are now open on evenings again. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Fit us in without booking and even baked rather than fried chips for my gluten free wife. On top, the food was superb, with generous portions. Thank you."

"The meal we had was first rate. The fish was so fresh and cooked incredibly well. It has to rate amonst one of the best fish and chip restaurants around. It is family run and they clearly take a pride in serving up the very best. The batter is a family recipe, handed down through the generations. The price was very competative even although the quality was the tops. We are running out of words to describe how good this meal was. We will definitely go back."
