"This small but charming room in the Tadoussac Hotel offers a great dining experience with an intimate atmosphere as well as a stunning view over the Tadoussac Bay. The food at Le William Restaurant was excellent. There are three fixed menus to choose from, one at $59 G TAT O S A C, one at $69 T O U S O U H AK and one at $79 TAT O U S H AK. There are also matched wines which you can buy this would bump the price up to $47 for 3 glasses or $60 for 4 glasses. The menus have a minimum of 5 courses and include a choice of starter, main and dessert. My husband went for the T O U S O U H AK menu and started with Hot cold trio, seared foie gras, foie gras crème brûlée, cranberries port wine demi glace, fir tree jelly and fresh fig, followed by Seared sturgeon filet, both of which were EXCELLENT. I had a Creamy risotto with chantrelles, pan seared langoustine and milk poached turbot filet with fine wakame, sea urchin nantais butter, lobster mushroom duxelles, finished with truffle oil essence from G TAT O S A C menu which was a real treat. We both had a crepe suzette for dessert and my husband chose a local white wine the restaurant recommended. The service is excellent, and the staffs speak excellent English as well as French. The ambience was completed by a solo musician that plays lovely French music. Expect to spend at least 2 hours at the restaurant. We would more than happily go back; Le William Restaurant is one of our highest recommendations."
