Me and my girlfriend live in Droylsden and order food from Spice jar from time to time as a treat. The food is always of a high standard, there's plenty of choice of different dishes and sides etc and at a reasonable price. "Visited 5/1/24. We have used this place many times over the years. We hadnt been for sometime and last time felt the normal superb food and service had dipped slightly. Still good but not quite at the usual high standard. Last night it was back to its superb best. We had the set menu A. the mixed starter platter was great in particular the chicken satay sticks were lovely juicy chicken. The three mains were all excellent. The thai red curry is awesome, the beef in oyster sauce superb. Im baffled by the one star reviews and would question there authenticity. Service was superb. Definitely back to its best. Great value too. Dont forget its BYO alcohol."
