"If you 're expecting a sit down restaurant location, don 't. Looks like they had a fire and now it is just a Spud Box food truck located behind where the original restaurant location. Honestly the fish and chips are probably the best I 've had since my trip to Bradford, England BUT the place loses a star for one reason that affected our experience. My friend, who has a severe nut and seed allergy, asked what kind of oil they used the owner just shook his head and said that all he would say was that it wasn 't peanut. He said that my friend would be 'safe ' eating here but the vagueness of his answers was unsettling. I understand it may be proprietary info but maybe just pull him aside and tell him what it is or what exactly is in it so he knows for sure. For my friend it is literally a matter of life and death, I think food establishments should be forthcoming with details if a patron tells them information like this. We trusted him and ate here. My friend did not have any reaction so it seems they are safe but it made his and therefore everyone 's dining experience uncomfortable. Other than that the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the fish and chips, the chips and the fish were fried just perfectly! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! So yummy!!"

"Love this store!! I stop on my way to and from work. Get gas, diesel, propane for the BBQ and coffee for waking up all in one stop! There are seedlings in the spring, ice cream in the summer, fresh apples in the fall, and Christmas trees in the winter. All from local suppliers! This store is so closely connected with the community they know your name, your vehicle and your favorite pizza (yes, there's a Square Boy there too)!! Of course there's your standard convenience store fare, but it includes cheese from Wilton Cheese and meat from Quinn's Meats - both local. If you want points, this is a certified Esso so you can collect points on everything. Truly a hub in the community!"

"My father and went for a ride to see the colors of the autumn and here to lunch. such an interesting business! the restaurant has a zinndecke and is very eclectic. eating was also very good. we had a smoked meat. sandwich and a west. I don't live here, so I probably won't come back from this ground, but my father is already talking about bringing my mother there."

"I often frequent this little bakery on road trips that take me north on Hwy 41 as it is a short 10 minute detour off the highway. It is a great little spot to stop for lunch to break up the drive to the Ottawa Valley or to Land O Lakes cottage country. Stop in for breakfast or lunch for a sandwich and pick up some bread, baked goods, specialty mustards or sweet treats for the weekend at the cottage. The bakery itself is quite small, with limited indoor seating but there is a lovely outdoor patio. The staff is friendly and they are always eager to please. They offer a Friday pork ribs by the pound special; the recipe changes weekly. The sausage rolls are the best I have ever had, in fact I have from time to time special ordered large quantities to use for parties at home."

"If you want to visit a local haunt this is the place. With a rich history (photos covering the walls) and friendly staff and owners this is nice place to check out for lunch, dinner or a beer. Parts of the restaurant were a stable (many years ago)! Our party of 6 attended a Saturday night session with local entertainment - it was very good!The owners try to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Good Job!"
