What Kent Sinkiewicz doesn't like about Lorraine's:
My wife and I went to Tangier for a day trip. Lorraine’s is currently the only option for lunch so that is where we went. We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and it was fantastic. For entrees we ordered crab cakes, mine was with scallops. Now mind you I have spent my entire life living near or around the water. The scallops were no more scallops than I am a scallop. Good food, they did their best supporting the crowd coming off the ferry. Burger was good. My wife loved the cradcake.
I had a delicious crab cake sandwich, but my husband order fried shrimp expecting fresh shrimp. However, they were frozen and not very tasty. The side salad was exceptional!
Great food, great people, what more could you ask for!
Highly recommend bringing your own food on the boat trip. Food was good but we waited 90 minutes after being seated and didn't get to explore the island as a result. Pretty much ruined our day trip.
Every year I visit Tangier, my first stop is always Lorraine's for her Crab Dip. So good.
