"We had a special occasion to celebrate , and were assured by locals that the Hostellerie was one of the two best restaurants in town . We booked a table several days in advance , arrived prettty much on time , and found the restaurant none too busy for a Friday night . None the less , it took thirty minutes for our order to be taken , and an hour and a quarter for the first course to arrive , then a further half hour for the main course , which could fairly be described as tepid at best it was as though it had been cooked , allowed to get cold , and then given a brief reheat under the grill , not the way I like my steaks ! The others in our party had all ordered different dishes , and all found the food to be lukewarm , although we were all getting quite hungry by this time , so facing a further wait by returning it to the kitchen did not appeal . A very disappointing experience ."
