Really nice pub in a picturesque village. It’s very ‘ladies who lunch’, but they have labelled vegan options on the menu and you can get a soya latte. We stayed in the hotel upstairs which is very nice (and really well priced like cheaper than the Premier Inn). Vegan breakfast included muesli with soya milk, toast and marmalade, and a cooked breakfast of hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans, plus coffee and tea... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Royal Oak:
The restaurant has a rural ambiance. The vegan menu is decent but somewhat limited, and the vegan cheese could be improved. However, it is a great option for locals or for those dining with friends who prefer meat dishes. View all feedback.

This lovely pub in a charming village has a very 'Ladies who Lunch' vibe, but they offer vegan options on the menu and even serve soy lattes. We stayed at the hotel above, which was very nice and reasonably priced compared to other options. The Vegan breakfast included muesli with soy milk, toast and jam, and a cooked breakfast with hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, and beans, along with coffee and tea, all included in the room rate. We would definitely stay here again!
