During our tour of New Zealand, my wife and I came across this restaurant while passing by on our bus. We decided to stop for a taste of fish and chips, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was and the reasonable prices. If given the opportunity, we would definitely return to this restaurant. I particularly enjoyed the mixed plate of hair and lamb with a bottle of soft drink. My wife ordered the same dish, but with a slightly different selection of sauces.
Without a doubt, this restaurant serves the best kebabs in the city. The service was quick, and the seating area was comfortable. The portion sizes were generous. We tried the lamb and the mixed plate, both of which were delicious. The variety of sauces was fantastic. For dessert, we had Turkish delights which were also delightful. Overall, a great dining experience at an affordable price.
The kebab is not only delicious, but also served with fresh bread that enhances the experience. The special sauce adds a unique flavor to the dish. Overall, the flavors are bold and the food is delightful. As someone from the Middle East, I really liked it. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated, but I would recommend sitting outside to enjoy the view!
My husband and I have tried many kebabs in New Zealand. Kebab Turka is by far the best! Whenever we pass through Taupo, we always make sure to dine there, usually about once every 6 months. Their kebabs consistently meet the same high standard. We usually order the mixed salad kebab, which comes with ample portions of meat, salad, and sauces. The flavors are truly authentic and amazing! Plus, it's gluten free. You and your friends will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
