I have two favorite restaurants in greenville; the open hearth is one of them. my favorite steak place ever. I've never had a bad one at the open hearth. 1/5/18 had the best fillet dinner in the open hearth resturant. perfectly cooked. I love med rare “Pittsburgh” and is sometimes difficult to get perfect, but that was a perfect one. always a great place to dinate. very recommended the open hearth. read more.

Facilities are dated, party of 12 in private dining room took 2 hours to get main entrees, waitresses did not cooperate with each other and stated as such. Steaks and potatoes were Luke warm at best.
