"We ordered a delivery pizza and tiramisu. great service via the phone. the delivery came as promised and the girl was nice and friendly. I must say that was the absolutely best pizza we had. just delicious. tiramisu was also beautiful. highly recommended. great facility an te anau."

"I popped in the afternoon to check if it would be Coeliac safe, and they were so great. I ended up placing my order then so the chefs could prep it before hand, and as I was eating in at opening time, they changed the oil in fryer so I could have fried chicken. Delicious food and very patient waitstaff and chefs who were happy to answer my questions and ensure I was safe."

"Although there are many advertising about the vegan options on the outside of the cafe/restaurant, talking to the staff (which wasn't friendly), it is told that you can have any option from the vegetarian pizza menu WITHOUT cheese, or two options from the vegetarian pasta menu, again WITHOUT cheese, or a salad and the soup of the day. When asked if they could make a vegan smoothie, they said yes, but there isn't vegan milk and the cow milk is replaced by water. I don't know why this place makes so much advertising about vegan food if they only offer three vegan options (a salad, a soup and a cake). The rest is only adaptations without vegan ingredients for replacement. Ended up eating here considering the city is not vegan friendly. I had a penne pasta and a slice of the apple cake, which were just ok, although quite expensive. Updated from previous review on 2017-12-03"

"We dropped by Black Dog Bar on Tue, 7 Mar and enjoyed our experience so much that we went back again this evening! They have a wide selection of drinks, spirits and wine and even introduced us to a new martini, Lillet! Kudos to Andrew and Rashel for their friendliness, genuine warmth and tip top service. Bravo!!!"
