What hazebrv doesn't like about Royal Beijing:
Big order £80 , really looking forward to it after seeing the reviews. But God what a dissapointment. House chow mein, extremely salty with lots of chewy meat that all tasted the same dumped on top. read moreAt Royal Beijing, perceptions of Chinese cuisine are polarizing. While some patrons rave about the consistently flavorful dishes, friendly service, and good portion sizes, others have reported disappointments, citing overly salty meals lacking freshness and distinction. Many customers praise specific items like chicken in black bean sauce and perfectly cooked ribs, highlighting the restaurant's attentive staff, particularly the consistently welcoming Kate. While a section of diners expresses loyalty and enthusiasm for this local gem, there's an unsettling contrast for others who have encountered mediocre meals, leaving them questioning this culinary hotspot. Overall, Royal Beijing might be best enjoyed by those willing to navigate its mixed reviews.
