Our experience tonight was excellent! I got the spinach tamales and my husband got the brisket enchiladas! Hats off to the chef, the food was phenomenal! Our servers was great, he made sure we were talen cate off even after we paid. If you haven't been here you gotta try it! read more.

What Lisa Islas doesn't like about Rio Lerma Mexican:
The food was 5 star presentation. Flavor was good but on the salty side. We were there at lunch was looking forward to some nice iced tea in this over 100 °f weather. The 1/2 1/2 was so sweet it made my teeth hurt right away and I only took a sip. It was also from the day before. For that reason I give 3 stars. Not worth the price of a few tea bags to skimp? "Service is weird. Instead of going through the line, they make you dine with a waiter. It's a bbq joint, ditch the wait staff. Also, the brisket was a bit dry and just not that great. The Mac n cheese is flavorless mush, and the fried okra is freezer bought. Don't recommend this place."

"I love this little place. This is the second visit for me and my husband. I had a complete original club sandwich with chips and could only eat half, it was delicious and pretty good size. I also had a hot chocolate bomb to say it was delicious is an understatement. The cookies are delectable and the pineapples down cake is top notch! I give 5 and will definitely visit again. The only negative in this place is the limited number of tables to eat on a cold day."

"I come here quite often and I get the same thing every time. I normally get a dipped sundae in a bowl with vanilla ice cream. I received a medium size cup but a baby size ice cream. I was pretty upset that I paid more money to get more ice cream and didn't receive what I paid for. This is not the first time this had happened. I'm going to have to stop coming to this one."
