"We had visited Stone Henge for the day, it was late, the kids were hungry and tired and all the chain restaurants we had tried to get into were fully booked. I was stressing out and this restaurant saved the day! They were able to...accommodate us at extremely short notice. We were a large party of of those small kids. We were so thankful and pleased to come here. They don’t do a kids menu. The kids can have anything off the menu, just a smaller portion which I liked as kids can sometimes get a poor deal with the usual chicken nuggets and fish fingers as options. All the food was delicious: pizzas and pastas. Although I had to agree with other reviews, the service is a little slow. (This wouldn’t have bothered me if I hadn’t have had the tired kids with us). There is also free car parking at the back."

"Four of us (adults) visited on a Thursday evening in January. Service was very good. The menu was slightly reduced due to a temporary problem with the supply of some fresh fish from their suppliers. The waitress was quite honest about it (only a few...dishes were affected) and I was actually pleased to hear that they had refused frozen fish from the fishmonger as the chef insists only in fresh fish. I ordered a risotto main. I have to say it was rather salty which was a shame as the underlying flavours and consistency were good. The other three mains were all excellent as were the desserts. There appeared to be a good outdoor area with outside bar. A lovely, clean pub serving decent quality fresh food. We will definitely visit again, probably in the warmer weather so we can check out the garden area."

"We booked in for the valentines set menu and it was amazing! The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and it was just delicious! All the little touches made it so special, homemade fudge on the table as a little present and a welcoming drink of prosecco just made it. Service was also brilliant."

"Lovely food. Roasts are very good quality, tasty and good size. (Be even better if there was a plant based option). Vegan Mushroom Bouginon was nice also. Went with a group of friends. Would recommend for Sunday lunch."

"Nice pub with good ambience. Have visited before in the summer whilst walking in the area and enjoyed a very relaxing pint in the garden.. However last nights visit to catch up with old friends was spoilt by one male member of staff speaking for many minutes in a very loud voice with constant use of the f* word. I was sitting across the room by the window and his voice was loud, intrusive and impossible to ignore. I eventually went over to ask him if he could please mind his language and received a very curt and dismissive response and a further loud JC! to my back as I returned to my seat. I did not respond to that comment although I had planned to move on when my friends arrived if nothing changed. He did however moderate his volume meaning that the rest of the visit went as well as I had been expecting from a venue I had happily used before."
