We both thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea in the beautiful conservatory overlooking the golf course. The food was totally homemade and beautifully presented . Refills of tea and coffee was served by two young front of house servers who were well trained, attentive and very pleasant. I recommend the afternoon tea without hesitation, excellent value too. Having attended the Gin making experience which was excellent) we booked a meal at the restaurant. Staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous however the restaurant was like a transport cafe. The risotto was more like a soup noisy, the waiters talked over us at the table, my friend was almost knocked off her chair by a waiter and we were told to check our bill which a bottle of wine had been added!
