What dhirabhaktad doesn't like about White Hart:
This is a great place for a drink, the staff are friendly and are especially welcoming. For meat eaters it's a good place to go, those in my group loved the meal. For me it was hard to hide the disappointment the vegetarian options were limited, made even more limited by lack of stock, the menu says their are vegetarian options for some of the dishes but appears not to be so. What they had really wasn't what I wanted... View all feedback.
We have been around the opposite for a place that makes Monday afternoon (an option that is very lacking in this opposite.) apparently in the vale on Sunday midday means that they need one or two days after eating. At any rate we came across this pub and were thrilled with the service, the pretty facility, the layout, the ambiente, the choice of food and the eating itself! it is really happy to have a place to go when they visit again and thankfully that they have managed to keep some space between the diners “post-Covid” instead of all in, like some pubs do. nice to have a separate restaurant entrance. throw a look at the garden next time, as missed.
A total home from home. so much space, equipment and very clean. beds and sofas very comfortable. a little loud, but it is otherwise an excellent position,
Visits Sunday afternoon and must say what a beautiful transformation! last visit last year (we live 5 minutes to foot, but rarely go to our local restaurants / pubs) the beer garden has been reworked with a beautiful water function, and glass ballast etching that leads to a surface of grasland with a children's bouncy lock. there are now many tables and a super large sunshade with terrace heaters underneath to heat the tables in the middle of the beer garden at cooler evenings and in winter. overall the garden was clean, modern and a nice place to visit, eating was also served and saw delicious! the only down- the Bouncy lock could really wash with a blooming good jet as it was more grubby, and we were not the only parent who noticed. I understand that children gras and dirt bring to the burg, but it is really quite yuk, I have striped my 2 children of their clothes and socks as soon as we came home, but please believe me when I say that this does not prevent us from visiting very soon!
My partner and I enjoyed today a delicious roasted in white hard. he had bratbeef that he said was very tender. I had the Quorn roast, which was not particularly imaginative, but was no less ok. the vegetables were cooked for perfection, neither undercooked nor cooked. the whole thing was hot. we were served by amy who was efficient and friendly with being intrusive. the ambiente was warm and welcoming. we booked another visit later in the month and look forward to it.
Excellent pub and helpful staff Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
