There is an art to a great village pub, you often have only one or two in a village so they become very important parts of their communities. Now, I was only br...

Had a lovely couple rounds of drinks here. It took us four years of trying though as the opening hours seem to be random at best lol (annual holiday destination...

"What a fantastic museum that tells an incredible history of human ingenuity. it is amazing how they have broken the chiffren used by germany (enigma and lorence) and japan. what is also amazing is the fact that everyone there kept the secret for many decades and told no one what was going on during the second world war at the bp. there is so much to see, so it is great that their ticket allows several visits for a year. Do not forget to visit the national museum of computing that is on the same website, but is another museum that houses colossus, the world's first computer, along with the world's oldest work computer WITCH/Dekatron"

"A fantastic little tea room full of charm, friendly service and delicious warm scones. The freshly made lemonade was excellent also. I've got nothing negative to say about this place, apart from the scones just crumbling from their freshness which made my hand look like a 2 year old had just eaten!!!"

"Simple familiar space, with a friendly touch to it, where you feel like at home. The food is simply amazing. The chicken is always the best (I swear it is second to none with places in Portugal . Add a bit of Piri-piri for the burning tongue effect. The steaks are amazing, pork belly superb and the ribs to die for. And the starters? from chorizo to gizzards to traditional cheese and ham boards, rissoles... I am salivating as I write this : Everything accompanied by Portuguese traditional wine (ranging from White to Porto, Red, Green and even Blue! : and a great selection of beers, also non-alcoholic and all the Portuguese juices (Sumol is a must and comes in 3 flavours . For desert you have the best pasteis de nata in a 1000 miles radius, or the home made specialties of Magy . A Portuguese proper expresso with a digestive is the happy ending you wish for. After a great meal, take some Portuguese made food and drinks home in the grocery at the back and your night will have been justperfect."

"A stunning gastro pub situated on the outskirts of Bicester providing excellent food and professional service. Due to having a large garden at the rear, there are many tables for customers to enjoy food and drink in the summer time; while both indoor fireplaces appear to provide a more rustic, warmer feel in the winter time. More on our visit, we were kindly seated by the bar staff in the conservatory, despite us not having a booking and the pub clearly being busy. I ordered the Duck breast while both my parents had the Fish and Chips; the Duck was perfectly cooked and the very large portion of fish did not disappoint. We highly recommend the Trigger Pond to anyone passing through the local area. A gem of a country pub"
