"We had a family dinner today for my sons on the 18th birthday. we chose the birthday buffet menu that was absolutely amazing. the individual Italian courts that they can support themselves. so much choice and once the dish and dishes were emptied, they were refilled. mario and his two sons were fantastic. amazing service, amazing eating and amazing worth. would recommend to everyone to go there. fantastic. many thanks to the family wendy willis"

"Went here for lunch absolutely amazing food! I usually struggle to find one thing on the menu but here I was struggling to decide between 5 meals! I eventually decided on the beef madras from the specials board which was absolutely lovely. My husband had the home made faggots which he said were the best he’s ever had! Also the homemade carrot and corriander soup for starter was really really good! Also good choice of lager and beers. Will be visiting again! Staff very friendly and informative of the menu as well as quick service."

"Loved it. We were staying locally and recommended the weekend pizza night. It didn't disappoint! We didn't have a reservation and they were fully booked (6pm Saturday night) but were offered a table outside on the deck. Considering the stunning weather we've had this summer, we were more than happy to be outside amid the sculptures and frescos. Staff were incredibly obliging and friendly and we felt very well taken care of. We had arancini balls and a couple of pizzas (one each) and they were excellent. Despite The Snug being a cosy little place tucked out of the way in a small village, the pizzas (from their impressive pizza oven) were up there with the best I've had. The pizza toppings on point and, most importantly, the bases were super tasty and delightfully chewy. Food and staff: 10/10. Heartily recommended and ready to drop in again soon."
