Delicious and delightful! The divers were charming and engaging as they shared their history, culture, and food with us. It seemed the sort of place only the Japanese know about. Sadly, this diving art seems to be disappearing. If you want to experience it, you should book it now! View all feedback.

There are a couple of Ama Huts dotted along the Toba coastline, and I 'm glad that we picked Hachiman Kamado, which was very close to the Shinmei Jinja Shrine....
