"An absolutely iconic food truck. The food was fantastic, we had 2x tacos and 2x Gringa’s and they were all lovely. The flavours where rich and deep. I didn’t think the price was too bad, $14CAD for 2x tacos. I dropped a star for the size of the queue, clearly a super popular spot but we waited almost 20 minutes just to order. Once we ordered it was a further 10 minutes or so (didn’t have a problem with the wait post order). The truck itself is worth a look, absolutely covered in hundreds of stickers from all over the world and you get served through the passenger window."

"Very, very tasty salads. I had the pachamama bowl with beets and faro. Just awesome. Salmon kale salad also good, and bean burgers. Even the house salad on the bean burger was good. Excellent service, great patio."

"The service once seated was slow from taking our order to being served. The small plate we ordered was excellent. The main dish took over 30 mins after our small plate dishes were cleared and wasn't nearly as good quality. Dessert also slow to arrive was excellent. The open kitchen is in the restaurant which is fun to watch but makes it very noisy."

"It was an unpleasant experience for us, we arrived on May 3rd few hours later in evening our cat Harrison got stuck under the bed over 4 hours from 8pm till past midnight, we asked for help at front desk and they said tmr AM that maintenance would come, so not long after this we came back to our room and could see him distressed so we decided we wanted him out now not wait in morning. He doesn’t stay in one place this long so we knew he was in trouble and took mattress out and see thru the holes on wood board that Harrison had his leg stuck so he finally tried to get out but he couldn’t get loose so we had to gently pull his body out slowly and unstuck his leg so he’s okay. We felt the suite was not pet friendly as the under the bed was a safety issue No proper lock on screen door so we had to keep sliding door locked but it wasn’t actually locked as it was cracked This room need maintenance We were looking forward to trip because 4 years ago we had a great suite with jet bath and felt safe with catsbut this time it was a different room. We weren’t expecting it when we arrived last Wednesday so we are disappointed overall. We weren’t happy overall. Front counter was nice to communicate with us and gave us 1st night free."

"The salmon fish and chips were amazing and a huge portion for 1 piece. Some of the best I've had and not to mention the homemade tarter sauce. Great job guys, I'll definitely be back!"

"Unbelievable steam buns! The texture of the bun was perfect and the flavours of the ingredients inside were 10/10. We tried the Pork Belly and Tuna buns but they have a few other flavours, plus curries and Noodle bowls, too. Definitely check this place out, just one block down from the main street and way less busy!"

"I dived into red can for the first time today while I visited tofino. I picked up a lot of food for a late lunch in our home. honey garlic chicken wings, roast beef/boursin mayo on baguette, tomato soup, brownie and a chocolate cupcake...with to-die-for buttercream-Icing. the whole food was absolutely delicious, great quality and so easy to run and pick up. red can is not out of the way; it is menu change frequently and they will enjoy their shopping. I can't wait to return."
