What User likes about Ye Olde Chequers Inn:
beautiful small place near the top of the city, only at the burg bus stop. has a few screens to see the football or other sports, plus a few quiz and fruit machines. it is not really a place to go out for a big night, but does a good quiz every Sunday night, where the 50p enters as the prices are used. they can get in the regular around £40 quid for the first price if its not too quiet. but all the time I was, it was... Popped our heads in on a rainy day for some relief from the weather but were looked at like we were a piece of dirt! We were told we could sit out the back ... bear in mind it was cold and raining...
