This cafe is stunning with a lovely position opposite the park. The outdoor area is beautiful to sit in and the waiters/waitresses offer table service. I was only here for a coffee and snack but everything was great and the staff were also happy to charge my phone for me and also provide me hot water to heat baby bottle, no problem. What User doesn't like about Cafe Valetta:
Possibly an interesting building but poor table floor plan doesn't provide everyone with an ideal experience - having been invited to sit anywhere we were asked to move from the table we selected (the table selected was well situated in a nice room with stained glass windows), to a table set against the wall in a middle room. Would be nice if they let you pay separately. Most cafes and restaurants do in 2022.
Not sure whats happened in 12 months to my favourite toowoomba cafe but it aint good, young, careless staff, wet tables, short personalities of staff, no longer table service to order food.Food also gown downhill so much vinegar in the poached eggs and hollandaise it was disgusting.Sadly the search begins again for decent cafe.
Cafe Valetta should be on everybody 's 'must visit ' list! Arrived today for the carnival of flowers, and was pleasantly surprised to see this little gem right across from Queens Park. The cafe itself is absolutely beautiful, set into a converted heritage home, with a lovely alfresco dining area and manicured gardens.Don 't even get me started on the food, absolutely to die for. The prices are a little higher than most, and you need to be a bit patient when they are busy, but believe me when I say the food is well worth it. I ordered the stuffed chicken for lunch, everything was cooked perfectly and the flavour was fantastic. Service was lovely too. I will be back!
