"I ordered a gluten free toasted sandwich to take away so that I good have lunch with my husband who is in hospital across the road from the cafe. When I opened the sandwich I was surprised at the size and consistency of the bread. I ate my sandwich trusting that when you ask for gluten free because you are a coeliac an cannot each normal bread that is what you will be given. I should have trusted my own instincts and not eaten it as it turns out that they made me a normal toasted sandwich. I went home and suffered the affects of eating gluten such as gut pain, nausea, feeling unwell and this morning I have mouth ulcers. I will be contacting the Coeliac Society so that they can warn other sufferers to avoid this restaurant so as they do not get poisoned as I have."
