"Can only comment on the breakfast we had here recently. the cafe is near the cbd and had some on the grounds parking, although it quickly becomes full. we have a table on the old veranda overlooking the laurel bank park. the coffee was very nice and the service was surprisingly fast. the food was very delicious and well presented. the only thing that stopped me with 5/5 was that the big breakfast had cut the ham instead of speck and a sausage, although the roasted tomato was awesome along with half avocado. this is just my personal preference. Overall and nicely eat price cafe with very wallpaperstry, we will be back."

"We have always loved Turkish food however tonight was just perfect! Cold outside we just were after a quick warm "home cooked" meal. The authenticity of the decoration, the beautiful staff who served with enthusiasm, pride and humour. The food was served in stunning crockery dishes and was spot on with spices. The halloumi, stuffed zucchinis, clay pots - just so tasty! However, the shining star was the beautiful Cleopatra Kiss yoghurt beverage served amidst real rose petals. It was just simply an awesome culinary experience. We will be back. Thankyou so very much."

"Excited to see a Japanese and Korean influenced menu in Toowoomba. Went on Thursday night. The Japanese curry was good although the sauce could have been a bit warmer. Spicy chicken with rice was also good. It would be good to see a freshen up...in the restaurant maybe a lick of paint....good experience all in all"

"I ordered a lunch of Coffee and a Ham Toastie at Ortem Café. The Coffee was delightful and piping hot while the Toastie was loaded with top quality ham finely shaved and it was on some lovely Turkish bread. The male staff member was extremely friendly and was genuinely interested in if I enjoyed my meal, while the female staff member was distracted and a little abrupt although not rude, she was probably having a bad day. Overall the meal was nice enough to make a return visit possibly for breakfast as I saw many breakfast meals being taken to tables and they all looked very nice. There are plenty of dining tables both indoors and out. There is plenty of street parking in the general vicinity and the café has a nice atmosphere. They also have a selection of cakes and slices."
