"If they want to make one of the most delicious chicken and beef combo plate along with a side order of some really delicious soba, then this is the place for them. what has won me is how consistent they are. each combo/plate is filled with rice and its choice of the protein to the maximum. the owner is proud of his business and it shows. her teriyaki sauce is so good. "My three girl friends and I really enjoyed the caviar especially the lobster salad and cornmeal pudding! The scones should be reworked as they are not to the level of others that I have had here in the states and in Britain. Very dense; almost 2nd day baked. The thing that really annoyed and disgusted us was the flies. As the meal progressed, more kept coming. No host nor service person could/would see our excess of napkin waving and exclamations of disgust."

"Really enjoyed my picadillo brisket tacos at HomeState. The meats were well seasoned and cooked to tender perfection! The salsa options weren't as spicy as I'd like but they paired nicely with the tacos. I absolutely loved the homemade flour tortillas. I usually prefer crunchy tacos over soft and corn tortillas over flour but HomeState won me over! Plus, the portions are huge! I was stuffed and had to bring a taco and some of the potatoes home. The potatoes weren't anything different but I like potatoes so it met my breakfast needs for the morning! Service was quick and friendly. Really the only con is terrible parking. Be prepared to find street parking and walk! There is a structure you can park at but be prepared to pay."

"I happened to stumble on this place. On a Monday evening I planned to go to another restaurant, but I realized it was closed. I decided to check the pizza nosh because I had seen it before and I live near this complex. When you go into the smell of the place is amazing, and the people who worked there seemed very friendly. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was excellent. It only took about 7 to 8 minutes to cook, and one could say that it was done with care. I'll try the Pesto Flatbread Pizza again!"
