"These are huge, messy, greasy burgers that hit the spot when you want that sort of thing. I love the variety of flavours. I just wish they would add a protein option that isn’t beyond meat (maybe a chicken or fish style burger? as everything has that overwhelming beyond meat flavour. But if you love beyond meat, you’ll love this."

"Alobar is a really great Michelin addition. Being part of the Alo Group, you can expect great food, warm hospitality, and an overall positive experience. The main positive is that it’s not a huge fight for reservation/time commitment. It’s more than possible to come in for a relatively last minute intimate soiree, drinks, date, etc. I still think that the mille-feuille here is one of the best in the city and is something I get every time! Hands down though, their star dish has to be the foie gras parfait!"

"Coffee is good: exactly what you expected from a 4.5 rating cafe. And the price is quite reasonable as I’m so tired with those $6+ latte nowadays in downtown Toronto. They did increase the prices a lot in the past few years but that’s understandable.Deduct one star because the barista was not smiling to us at all."

"We were so pleased to have our wedding at George restaurant. The space and staff helped make planning a COVID-19 wedding such a breeze. There is a beautiful courtyard for an intimate and well ventilated event. Sonia Dhillon in particular helped smooth out the process and was with us every step of the way.
