"The chef josh really knows his aromen, an artist with a phenomenal palette. Hubby and I had luck that a cancellation meant that we could go to my birthday and enjoy the wonderful courses. every cure is small, but this is fine eating, definitiw does not fill up stupid and regret it later, eat. each bowl is exquisitely made with aromen, which they can only imagine to watch master chefs this was my first experience here, but we have booked for februar again, we could not book in januar as they are booked solid. many thanks to josh and chloe that they set up here in bideford. please don't go and they deserve a Micheline star."

"Nice meal last Thursday at The New Inn. We were made very welcome and enjoyed the fish and chips, dessert and drinks. The staff gave a birthday cake to another guest which made her evening, which was a nice touch. The church bell ringers also dropped in for a pint after their practice. Great to be able to pop by and support a proper community pub, really recommend The New Inn."

"We visited this hostelry twice while on holiday in the area. It has a cosy, old pub feel and is run by an efficient, friendly team. The food choices are huge from the menu and there’s a specials board too. Food is cooked to a very high standard and served nicely on the plate, steaming hot. My beef brisket was melt-in-the-mouth and the loaded fries (on our second visit) were loaded indeed. Portions are on the small side, so you have every excuse to enjoy three courses! It’s a bit out of the way and parking is roadside, but it’s well worth tracking this place down."
