We booked over the phone before travelling to Clovelly village . It was pretty quiet in there but then it was a 1230 lunch . I had the Sunday roast and the missus had soup and bread . They were really hot and tasty and accompanied by a local pint made for a good lunch . Our waitress was lovely and we had quite a good chat with her loved her local accent as it was quiet . It wasn’t a brilliant experience. The starters took 75 minutes to appear, I only had three oysters which must have taken ages! While we were choosing wine a poor couple were standing in the doorway totally unacknowledged for at least five minutes.
