"We visited this cafe for a Devon cream tea! Situated in a quaint part of town. We are a family of 5 and our youngest son is in a wheelchair. The access was great and we were seated straight away. Beautifully decorated inside and very...clean. I have coeliac disease and they had gf scones, my cream tea was delicious!! The jam homemade too! The children enjoyed the chocolate cake. Nothing was too much trouble. It was very reasonably priced and seemed popular with the locals! The menu looked varied and delicious as were the cakes! Well worth a visit!"

"Sweet old pub in super quiet location. Nutcha so polite and friendly. Husband cooks. This is not fast food, but delicious. Crab was on special, baguette or salad. Salad imaginative with fruits. Also home-made potato salad, very good. My husband had the burger, which he enjoyed, with excellent chips, which we all picked at. Interesting old photos, cosy old fireplace. A proper old-style pub, with modern cooking. All it lacks is a cat! The village now has good parking by the playing field, walk down from there to pub and admire the lovely church (open in day-time) and old cottages, some with pretty gardens."

"We visited a couple of times while we were on holiday in August. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly. The Thai food is prepared fresh on site every day and it's worth booking ahead. The food is great. We'd like to make a special...mention of the landlord who was kind enough to drive us back into the town centre when we couldn't find a taxi I'd just broken a home in my foot and couldn't walk. This was amazing, completely unexpected and really added to the role of the pub in the local community. Highly recommended."
