"We hosted a corporate retreat for 35 people at Scribner 's and were stunned by the helpfulness of everyone on staff, the beautiful settings (gorgeous scenery and lovely 'high-class rustic ' interior), the quality of the food and drinks, and thehelpful suggestions we received while planning our very particular event. We asked a lot of the Scribner 's team and theydelivered beautifully, staying flexible, available and communicative through the whole planning process and especially once wewere on site. Our group especially enjoyed having an activity in the beautiful garden, the no-cook appetizer and fermentationclass that Scribner 's organized, and the way the lodge facilitated both large group meetings as well as so many more privatesettings where our guests could have meetings or unwind in smaller groups. We struggled to organized transport for ourinternational guests but managed by working with several taxi companies in the area (also recommended by Scribners), so ifyou 're willing to put in a little effort on transport then Scribner 's will take care of literally everything else and yourentire group will love this venue! Thank you SO MUCH for your central role in making our retreat such a success, Kayleigh,Miranda, and the rest of the team!"

"Really cute atmosphere and decor. Came here for lunch. You can order at the counter, pay and tip, then find a table to sit at. This is a nice accommodation for a large party to be able to pay separate. I ordered the Portabella Mushroom Garlic Goat Cheese sandwich. It was delicious but there was way too much cheese on top I had to scrape some off! The marinated mushroom had a good flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and said it was good as well. Being a group of 10, on the house, we were brought out some chocolates which was a nice touch. We visited the area on a weekend trip before heading home and it hit the spot."

"The food is delicious. If you go, go for the food and be ready for anything. Such as them not having your reservation, being out of half of what you order (we ordered 4 food items and they were out of 2) and serving entrees before your appetizers. I wondered what was happening in the kitchen and felt bad for the staff. I'm not saying don't go here, just be advised. And be clear with the staff because one moved to take an appetizer plate before we were done and I made a joke about it that she didn't get, or she got it and took the plate anyway. I wondered if they didn't like us."
