"Went to stage door theatre last night and i can safely say really great night out! Good food! Funny jokes! Nice people! I will be back like arnold Schwarzenegger says.Drinks are a little on the expensive, but really didnt need the buzz to enjoy the fun. Worth a look. Well done captain martini and pearl e gates. "Food was undoubtedly superb and the best on the island. Very tasty and well presented. Also came out quickly with a very decent beverage menu. Beautiful ambience and building with very delightful artwork. Perfect location for date night except… The experience was tainted by the arrogant/rude/obnoxious owner (tall old guy with glasses named ? Dave) who lacked basic manners such as 'please ' or 'thank you '. Tried to engage him in some talk about his food, was completely disinterested and looked at me arrogantly and dismissively. Strange behaviour for someone who is described as a “restauranteur” on a predominantly tourist island. Disappointing as the rest of the staff were otherwise very pleasant, but perhaps fortunate for him that they don 't follow his absolutely poor example. Seems like this old fella is a serial offender with his behaviour given reviews below and would be much better for all if he wasn 't there. Otherwise, this restaurant is top notch and would be an institution for the island. Avoid the old tall guy and perhaps you will enjoy better than we did."

"There were several vegan options including a vegetable and hummus wrap, gnocchi, vegan breakfast (the usual avocado and mushrooms on toast), grilled vegetable panini and a Vegan Delight (fruit toast with cashew spread, fruit and coconut yoghurt) which I had."

"Came to dinner on a Sunday night. eating and service were amazing. both waiters were exceptional. I didn't get their names, but one man was Greek and the other was a younger guy. the food was fresh, tasty and well portioned. everything was made to perfection (fish, oktopus prawns,) and so delicious! I recommend the octopus and kingfish as a entree/Starter and the trout as a main thing! in a very beautiful place also with a view of the river."

"Beautiful food for a great price. Also thank you too the gentleman who gave us paper and crayons for my crazy toddler who was having a meltdown. Love service from all staff and really appreciated the thank you when we were leaving. Everyone seemed to actually enjoy their jobs which is a welcome change"
