The setting was very nice and the service was good. We have been given a welcome drink as well as a 'good bye' drink which we did not expect. The food was tragic however... It was not well cooked at all. Pretty sure the meat was frozen. I'd not go there again... read more.

"Nachdem wir eine Woche Bad Vöslau gebucht, und die Rezensionen zum Allerley noch in Einnerung hatten, war ein Besuch schon seit längerem vorgeplant. Schon der Eintritt versprach Gediegenheit. Minimalistisch sympathisch die Einrichtung. Eine kleine feine Karte, und eine selektierte Auswahl ordentlicher guter Weine; Stara Brno und weitere Biere, Schnäpse, etc. Der wirkliche Knüller lag in der unheimlich ausgefeilten Zubereitung der Speisen, von der Vor- zur Haupt- und Nachspeise. Wir waren zu viert, daher zeigte sich ein interessanter Querschnitt durchs Menue: Als Vorspeisen eine sensationelle Ochsenschleppsuppe, marinierter Saibling, gebackene Schweinsohren (fein knusprig, die Knorpeln zum knabbern); als Hauptspeisen Osso Bucco und Lammbraten, beide mit einer sensationellen "dunkel- klebrigen" Jus-montierten Sauce, und Wels in Teigtäschchen mit Pak-Choi in suppiger Umgebung. Als gerne Fein- und doch nicht zu teuer Esser: Es war noch nie so schön UND gut. Das Osso Bucco absolut sensationell und zart, wurde auch von den Damen ohne Aufforderung zum Mithelfen anstandslos bewältigt. Bei den offen angebotenen Weinen hatten wir rundherum gute Erfahrungen. Vielleicht könnte es da in Zukunft auch einige schwerwiegendere Flaschen geben. Insgesamt war es für mich die feinste und angenehmste Neuentdeckung. Ein ganz großes Lob an den Patron Hr. Ley - und sein sympathisches Team. Wir kommen so bald als möglich wieder."
