What User doesn't like about The Munster:
This pub should win an award for being the least friendly bar in all of Ireland, or at least the most unwelcoming pub in County Kerry—I'm still being too generous with that description. View all feedback.
While they advertise food, we went to find that they don’t consider dinner as food. We entered and waited for someone to great us when finally the bar tender asked what we wanted. When we said dinner he simply said NO.
Popped in for the first time for coffee and a scone. nice homemade scone and a refill of coffee was offerred. nice touch. will be back.
Nice pint, nice bar food, friendly welcoming pub, when the weather is nice, it's nice to sit out the front and watch the world go by
It's a typical Irish bar. The staff are friendly, courteous , . The decor is OK. Not drab but not especially modern. But when there is a big game on it becomes alive and develops a supercharged atmosphere. It's worth a visit but after 2 pints or if the game is over then move on
This local pub is an ideal spot for gentlemen to meet up, no matter the hour. The amiable proprietor is ever available for conversation, and the Guinness is expertly served. Though the interior could benefit from a modern touch, the inviting and cozy ambiance, paired with excellent music, creates a fantastic spot to relax and socialize.
