"I had booked an dinner in advance and the restaurant was pretty busy. we ordered from a separate vegan menu that had nine items. I found both the chana masala $19) as well as the lenses,- wild and spinach soup $18) beautiful, but only not entirely up to the silent level that is needed to match their spices. they were good, just not. I do not often desserts, but wait carefully for the wind and had the vegan pancakes that were delicious, but took me over the edge. I'll come back next time I'm in town."

"Do yourself a favour, don’t drive past Rosedale and not stop here for a meal, coffee, or say hello to the friendly staff. The decor is almost as flavourful as the food. And don’t forget to visit the loo, the decor matches the environment of Great Aunt Myrtle’s home (we all have such an aunt, even if her name isn’t Myrtle). Enjoy."

"Many love this place. They rave about the food. I found the food okay. The prices reasonable - until we ordered the banquet. There were two of us and we received about 1 cup of cooked fried rice. When asking for more were told it was extra $$$, we said no problem, but could not believe it when the same size arrived again - for $10. I'm happy to pay extra, but not for a cup of rice, a bit steep. All in all I would not go back, with two other great Chinese restaurants in town, it's just not worth the $$$"
