"My girlfriend and I decided to spent a long week end in Alsace and wanted to also have once a great local dinner. We chose Frankenberg and were very absolutely delighted by the delicate service, sublime location, amazing food over several hours, local wine suited...to each course and overall the amazing experience of gastronomical food! We will be back again as soon as possible and also discover the hotel! Many thanks again!"

"We started with a salad with grilled goat cheese over toasts. I asked for a meal with grilled sausages, pork cuts, sauerkraut and potatoes. My wife asked for a chicken cooked in wine sauce with mushrooms. The first two were perfect, but the chicken stew...was not tasty. Also, the look and consistency were not the expected too, as we imagined it would be breast and what came was an upper leg, that cooked with the skin becomes ugly. Overall it was a nice experience, very well served and with a fair price. Service was good but the waitress had a little difficulty in communicating in English, which is understandable. Try local wines like the Gewurtzraminer and Cremant too."

"We happened to stay near this place in the middle of nowhere and walked in without having read any reviews. It was simply amazing. We subsequently came back and hope this review will convince others to try it out. The food is Alsatian inspired, extensively locally sourced including some delicious wines and really excellent there was not a single dish or desert we found disappointing. The atmosphere is relaxed and the owner and staff were very patient with our many questions about dishes and products used. We enjoyed dining outside and inside based on the weather. Every time we drove by it was full, so we recommend reservation."
