I was with 5 of my friends on a girls trip to Akumal Bay Beach Resort. We walked up the beach to have lunch here 2 days while there. It just has a very good vibe and the food is very good. That end of the beach is a public so your seeing the locals there with their families. The bacon wrapped shrimp and the ceviche was delicious. Oh, the margaritas weren't bad either :-). On arrival we rushed over to grab dinner at our old favorite beach bar. We were told they were closing soon/ early! The cheesesteak sandwich was tough and ceviche bland. We had pina coladas that were watery and bored and waiter that never came back. Sad...not like we remembered. View all feedback.
