Home of snowmobile races in summer on the lake, annual rodeo, Doomsday dash obstacle course race, winter motorcycle ice racing, triathlon, fishing derby, music...

Beautiful area in tweed. Lovely view of bay Restaurant and bar right at the lake. Tons of parking nice big shady tress

Just about everything, accommodation very poor. No phone, no hot water, lack of staff, very noisy in evening, wedding party, running in hall, banging doors, sho...

"Quaint little cafe on Tweed high street. Outdoor seating available. Fresh baked goods, excellent coffee, and smoked meat sandwich delish. Furniture rustic country suits, but wood chairs bit too firm. Not sure if they offer INet access but they seem to have happy repeat customers and on way to creating nice little social hub in the thriving little hamlet called Tweed."

"We were getting hungry and when we drove by the Truly Canadian chip truck we turned around and decided to try it for lunch. I order a chicken burger and fries, thinking I would just get a chicken patty but what I got was a real piece of chicken breast crispy and full of flavour. While we were waiting we tried one of the homemade butter tarts available, definitely a must try. They also make pies on site, if we weren't travelling we would of bought one. They had covered tables and chairs you could sit at, and a washroom available. If your driving around Tweed, ON stop and try it or just take home a pie."

"I have heard good things about Madoc dairy/ burnsides and they didn't disappoint. We had a good lunch, and the service was good as well. The country fried chicken and the clubhouse were both good picks."
