"This review is for the Restaurant The property is very nice, but I don 't recommend the restaurant. Upon preparing to order, we were told they automatically now add a 20% tip for all orders so that the staff earns a decent wage. What this means is that the owner is paying his/her staff poorly. They seem to have different menus with different prices. We were presented certain menus when deciding whether to eat there or not which one wait staff person also verbally relayed. The prices on that menu and the prices on the menu we were presented with to order from were different. Food is good, but portions are very small. When you have to order dessert cecause you 'r so hungry post a pricey meal, that speaks poorly of the restaurant. Also, we had to track down the wait staff to order dessert and then procure the bill despite the automatic 20% tip they ent"

"The place is a little run down. The drive-thru sign is small and old and their microphone doesn't work right I guess. They have gotten my order wrong on two occasions, and the last time they refused to switch it out unless I had my receipt (even though it was extremely slow and there were no other customers). I got angry because with the price of gas I'd have to drive back home, then back again due to their mistake. And they were not apologetic at all. The customer service and their attitudes leave a lot to be desired! Watch your tires as there are loose rocks and asphalt in the drive-thru and it's not even clear where to go. Inside seems dirty, the staff, with the exception of one or two, is rude and I would recommend anywhere else as the food portions are small for the price and leave much to be desired. I'd go to a different one if you like Castenedas."

"A great surprise in a small town! My wife found the hidden gem once again... The food was eclectic and great. Influences from the Caribbean Islands our waitress said. We sat in the small indoor seating area with good kitchen beats, keeping the night energetic. The much larger outdoor area would be perfect when we return with our friend during our next Joshua Tree visit. We look forward to seeing how the menu has changed! Cheers Ian Tricia"

"When I visited the Joshua Tree National Park to eat something, it seemed like the obvious choice for Yelp. You only have two picnic tables and we could get one. Most people don't wear masks in this city, so we didn't really want to eat inside. What we have ordered: Lengua, Beech, Beer Battered Fish Tacos Cali Burrito Adrian's Quesadilla Esquite Strawberry Agua Fresca My favourites were the Queen and the Tacos. The al pastor was definitely my favorite meat. The tacos were all really solid. I liked the fish. The portion sizes are huge, especially the Quesadilla and Burrito. That was too much food for us. The Burrito was too much rice for me and not much meat. The Esquite was pretty bad. It was very watery with a ton of Mayo. The Agua Fresca tasted like cough syrup. If you need food when visiting the Joshua Tree National Park, come here for some tacos and quesadillas."

"Great pizza place. They were in the process if repainting so it looked a little shabby, but the customer service was top notch and the pizza was really tasty. Lots of toppings. My only gripe is I prefer crispy crust and hot pizza crust coming in contact with a metal psn creates condensation which results in a soggy crust. That being said I would still go back."
