Hank's Untraditional BBQ - Ucluelet

My family and I dined at this restaurant a few years ago while visiting Ukee. We were excited to return during our trip in November. We placed an online order for pickup smoothly. However, when we arrived to pick up our order, we were disappointed to find the restaurant completely closed. Not only did they accept our order while closed, but the posted hours on the door indicated they should have been open. We were not the only customers trying to pick up our orders. This experience left us feeling disappointed and frustrated.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. I ordered a generous portion of their beef brisket and it was absolutely delicious. The service was extremely friendly and I would definitely consider it one of the top dining spots in Ucluelet. I would come back in a heartbeat.

My wife and I had dinner after we had checked the best time to come since they did not take reservations. The best time was before and after We arrived at and wre directed directly to a table without any vaccination check....That was a surprise and we were somewhat shocked that it did not happen even after we were seated. I wanted seafood and so did my wife, We shared a delicious green salad and a starter of panko cod. The cod was superb and we highly recommend it. We both ordered sea food pasta and i requested clams and no mussels. When the food arrived there was a host of clams on my plate over linguini. The clams were perfect wide open and easy to remove the meat. By the restaurant was full. The food was good and the portions very adequate.

Great dinner on horrible wet and cold night. Wonderful tuna burger and enormous Mac n cheese was just what we needed. Wonderful margaritas as well. Would definitely recommend

We had Alex as our server on a rainy evening and he was fantastic and cheerful. He quickly seated us and the brisket was incredible. I only had the Caesar salad, but the enormous piece of pork belly was amazing! I highly recommend trying this restaurant!
