"Really special dinner spot by Mt Takao! Service is excellent and meals are served in private rooms. We tried the chicken skewer and the chicken and beef sets. A great place to go to “get away” while still being close to Tokyo. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely cafe inside a renovated storehouse. Counter seating only. Delicious falafel sandwiches with homemade pita bread and sauces. Rotating dessert menu, which are all vegan (some packaged cookies for sale from a local vendor aren't always vegan, but the main desserts always are). Lots of parking available."

"I was here this year for the new year, booking just a few weeks before we went, and they were great with their communication (all in English). they took up my vegan food, prepared me a special evening meal and breakfast. the location was beautiful. we had an incredible view over the mountains and spent our time wandering and exploring the mountain (including beautiful waterfalls). it was about ¥10.000 per night there, and I had to pay a ¥2.160 surcharge for a vegan meal (a bit annoying, I felt). eating was really nice, and the staff was helpful and checked everything with me to check if gluten and soy were in order, and pointed to the konbu dashi in my meals. the food was considerable and the room was really nice. it was a pretty hike to get there, but it is worth a night on a mountain!"

"This is a fantastic cafe right outside Ōtsuki station. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. We came in for a quick drink and parfait before our train which was delicious! The owner was great to talk to and the service was great. I highly recommend stopping by this cafe if you're waiting for a train or in Ōtsuki."

"All oriental vegan dishes. the food was cooked with chic and respect before the ingreients both for the tonnage and for the eyes. the textur of her soy chicken tempura was exceptional. there was also sashimi (raw fish and meat! that my taste, but not too meaty, was at heart. not only dims of eating, but also all dishes were excellent. wonderful entertainment for eating. no reservation required during the golden week, but better go early. updated from previous review to 2017-05-31"
