"I have enjoyed ices, cakes and Zaatar chicken and Persian bread on several occasions from this wonderful little cafe and takeaway. the food is always scrumtious, the service immaculate, friendly and efficient and they also serve fantastic tea, a rare thing these days. I look forward to returning"

"Food, although slow to arrive at the table, was of a reasonable standard. (The place was quite busy, with 2 large groups so possibly why service was a bit slow so I'll give them that one) As many have said before me, this place doesn't sell alcohol so we took our own. They don't take card payments, but we were prepared for that also. The gents lavatory is disgusting, with thick layers of dirt on the pipes, etc. The underside of the seat was also filthy. You have to wonder, when it was last cleaned? This place has so much potential if only a bit more effort was put into it. Even a deep clean and a fresh lick of paint would be a start."

"Lovely hotel- modern bedroom in outside wooden chalet with huge shower/bathroom. V comfy bed. Internet good, excellent choice of food in the evening and nice wine . View of the Summer Isles was good even though the weather was iffy. Umbrella provided in room. Spent a pleasant afternoon chilling in the bar! Highly recommended to anyone on NC500."
