I've eaten here several times when I can count and everything I've tried, it's great! my favorite would be the fried pork bell on noodles with gurke, yum! the ingwer pork soup is also great as the ginger pot with rice. simple, delicious price, no foot service and a good price. love it! The Sunflower Taiwanese restaurant is extremely popular among students because they offer an array of local Taiawanese dishes below $12. I ordered the minced pork rice and braised eggs from the restaurant. The food is simply disappointing the rice is overcooked and mushy whereas the minced pork are overly dry and salty. My go to place for cheap Taiwanese food. Taiwanese cha jiang noodle with help yourself chilli oil with peanuts is recommended.
I've eaten here more times than I can count and everything I've tried it great! My favourite would be the stewed pork belly on noodles with cucumber, yum!!!! The ginger pork noodle soup is great too as is the ginger pork with rice. Simple, delicious fare, no fuss service and a good price. Love it!
As a Taiwanese, it enables me to taste local and tasteful Taiwanese food even in Foreign country. Every time, when I come to city, it's my first choice to have lunch.
