"Stayed at the shore on a business trip. No services available at this location as the shore hotel appears to have been bought over as additional accommodation for the Kirkwall Hotel. There appeared to be no staff based in the shore Hotel with all the public areas reception/bar/ restaurant) locked up. This was not known prior to my arrival. Check in/out and meals served from Kirkwall Hotel, however evening meal reservations are required. Unfortunately no availability for a table during my stay to try their menu, which looked good. I stayed in a single room that felt dark and enclosed due to exterior fire escape stairs being directly outside window with no view. Room My colleague stayed in was however beautiful. Breakfast served in the Kirkwall Hotel a short walk away. Staff at Kirkwall Hotel were very professional and helpful."

"What lovely food! Like other restaurants in the area, you have to book ahead. Well worth the effort. Great young, enthusiastic team of staff and food that was really enjoyable to eat. Standard Italian menu well cooked and presented."

"The fajitas really enjoyed. had not space for pudding, which was a scandal, as the vegan option (chocolate orange mousse) sounded amazing. definitiw in advance try to get a window seat at the top when you can."

"It has now become an ongoing sweat at our twice a year visit – we are going to see if the staff will say at the time hallo when we go in. they never do it, even today when it was empty, and the 42 pound-puffin cup has cut us into the ass."

"Stayed here just one night during a short visit to the Orkneys. The front desk staff was excellent and professional. They helped us figure out the windows when I didn't know how to open them; they provided power converters since we had American devices and the converter we brought wasn't working; they called cabs for us and provided advice; they stored our suitcases for the following day of adventure.... The list goes on, as we were rather needy patrons for our one night stay. In particular, Darin (not sure of the spelling, sorry! was very helpful and professional I think he was in the middle of a double or triple shift too! Way to put the customers first. Location was great, very central. One of the few downsides was thin walls (sounds of someone bathing and shouting at her husband in the next room , but that's hard to do something about without rebuilding or extensive renovations. Overall, great location, staff, and services. Definitely would stay here again! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"I don't order from here very often but I've never been disappointed. The passanda and coconut rice are divine, the chicken just melts in your mouth. I also love their online ordering, easy to navigate and pay. Highly recommend Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5"

"Meal was cold! No comment when mentioned this to the waiter. No polite conversation from him at all. Husband and I ordered a different meal, yet sauce was the same. Will not eat here again!"
