I love this place! It hasn't changed in 30 years, still what I remember as a kid. Great food!

"A hidden gem! beautiful restaurant in a non-as-nice district. service was very friendly and attentive. they really care about what customers like and feel. the dining room is tastefully decorated, but a bit darker to me. there are a few special tables that show cultural focus. eating was surprisingly well done with interesting presentation. it's worth the price."

"This hits all the marks for a solid neighborhood tavern. Bonus you can still get a pitcher of beer here! That alone moves it towards the top of my list of favorite Tacoma taverns. The cheeseburger with french fries were tasty with a nice presentation. If you want a great weekend outing with friends/family, hit the zoo or the trails at Point Defiance and then make this your lunch or early dinner stop."
