Wanting to trip down memory lane with some European cafe d elites. Well stop into Mt Gravatts hidden Gem inside Garden City. Let your mouth water to the delites of Germany & Russian food. Mouth watering Esterhazy, Pischinger cakes. Vareniki, Pirozhki main dishes. Fairly well priced, lovely little corner deli/cafe experience. I was told about this Russian Deli so I thought I would take a Russian Friend there for a Birthday lunch while the menu is not large there meals were quite nice not your average everyday cafe food, there cakes were also very nice. The coffee was also very goodThe owner was on site and spoke Russian to my friend The Deli also sells smallgoods and has a good display of jars and packets of many different pickled vegetables and sauces as well as many other goods The German Sausage with sauerkraut and onions was really good as were the cabbage rolls This is not your average Cafe no chips or deep fried foods which was good
Ok in a pinch, fast service and the new store looks nice. We think we may have gotten some rotten meat once, but the last time we ordered it was solid.
The pizza was so terrible that it caves my glasses in.
I ordered a large meat lovers and it was very undercooked.
