"We always pay them a visit when we stay at Bellingen. Economical pricing and very tasty meals!! Pancakes my favourite dish but plenty other dishes to satisfy the tastebuds."

"Friendly courteous staff, very good food. Can byo if you like or buy drinks there. We went on quite a busy night as Sawtell Summer Sessions was on, we made a booking but there was still some confusion as to where to sit us. The service could have been better and quicker but the food was worth the wait. We would go back!"

"Love coming here with the family. We always sit outside close to the playground so we can watch the kids play while the adults have a couple of drinks and watch the footy on the huge TVs. Fantastic vibe, great service, great food and the place just looks awesome. Also love how they bring the kids meals out first and the amazing deals they have. Only thing I can comment on is that I hope they bring in more entertainment like bands, singers, comedians, family friendly kids events etc. Also hoping they get a roof to cover the outdoor seating area for those wet weather days and nights."

"On the way to melbourne, we stumbled on this jewel on Tuesday and were thrilled by our experience. I am gluten-free and milk-free and was made to feel welcome and handed over to our waitress with care. the pizza I ordered was the most tasty pizza I've ever eaten and the market fish my partner had was exquisite. we spent the whole meal talking about how tasty the meal was and found the host and cook after sharing with them how much we enjoyed their food. when we paid the bill, we noticed a cd for sale called the spare room collection, which we told was a jazzy compilation of their regular musicians, so we bought this and that is also delightful! overall the spare room impressed with a warm atmosphere, many interesting sitting possibilities, a scenic courtyard with festoons and fantastic eating!"

"Today was our second visit in two days. Yesterday for breakfast and today was due to being let down elsewhere so we came back here. On both occasions the service was lovely and friendly, even though they are a little short staffed at the moment,...you wouldn’t know, so credit goes to the staff and management! Food and coffees were great and there is a lovely selection of cakes too. My wife enjoyed mooching around the attached shop too. But main treat was how pet/dog friendly this place was and is. There are dogs welcomed and accommodated with a friendly and personal service, that is rare these days. Well done to the Old Butter Cafe and we hope, as we come out of COVID chaos, that you go from strength to strength! Thank you!"

"Hyde was located in a historic Drapers Store and had a good fit-out and atmosphere. Service was very slow and just okay and without a smile however the limited pastries were okay and coffee good."

"The kitchen was closed, but they had a yellow curry tofu and jackfruit cake in the display refrigerator, which was served with a fresh salad. Very nice and the milk-free smoothie was delicious"
