"I found Sam 's because it was halfway between my kids and my home. We wanted to get together for my birthday. Sam 's looked like a hidden gem. We ordered, hung out, waited over 2 hours and finally left and went to the root beer place down the street. My grandkids had school the next day and we each had a two hour drive home. Sam is one little old man (75+? doing what he loves. I 'm not sure if he knows how low his prices are but I feel he is being taken advantage of. The number of people that came and went while we were there was unbelievable. Sam is one guy, no other help, no clear communication. Kept saying UPS, happy Easter, computer not working, whatever. Make sure you have time to wait. I did not have any pizza but the experience was interesting."

"Found this place when coming back from starved rock and looking for a cup of warmth. The staff was super and very friendly. I got a Mexican hot chocolate and a cranberry and white chocolate scone for the road. The hot chocolate was lacking the spice of the but had a hint of cinnamon in it so it was still good and very smooth. Would definitely return and try a coffee next time."

"This is such a cool place! I love the way it looks and the beers were good. I came here on a Sunday around 2pm of Memorial Day weekend and it was insanely busy. Fortunately, the staff seemed to handle it well. I got a flight of 4 and liked the Honest Haze Hazy IPA the best."
