The food itself was alright, although I think for the price there should be bigger portions (especially chips). £3.50 for curry sauce is ridiculous. We had waited for over an hour without delivery so I called to enquire and they said it would be another 20 minutes. Another 40 minutes later, I had to call again to be told the driver was on their way. Disappointing. View all feedback. What Sienna Harrison likes about Churchill's Fish Chips:
very clean business, nice staff, fresh food. it is a bit more expensive than other places around, but they can appreciate the good quality of what they serve to eat was not oily and had not this old oil/used too many paint oil taste. when I was there, they offered what they had under the hot lamps or wait 7 minutes to have a new batch what I did. Disappointing
Average food quality. Not even hot, lukewarm at best. Massively disappointed. Not going to mention the eye watering prices
Fish n chips and a deep fried hair
Just like the title indicates, it was exactly that. Despite the food being warm, I found a deep fried hair in the batter of the fish!
